After a great sunny summer on the English coast, we are preparing for a busy September here at AQ HQ! Our main winter collection launch at Top Drawer wholesale tradeshow kicks off this coming weekend at Kensington Olympia where we will be displaying our AW19 collection at Stand 120 on the first floor mezzanine between 8-10 September. Hope to see some friendly faces and looking forward to catch-ups with our current stockists and meeting new buyers who we hope will stock the AURA QUE range this winter! Then we are opening our Peckham studio on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September (11am-6pm) as part of the Peckham Festival event for anyone to pop in to our studio! We will have some ethical bargains for sale with leftover stock and some one-off sample pieces up for grabs too. For winter this year, we will be doing just two retail fairs – Country Living Fair in Islington from 10-14 November and Peckham Open Studios between 8-9 December, more details on our events page here.
With no rest for the wicked, our massive winter delivery of stock is arriving mid September to our warehouse, where we will be checking all goods and getting out all our pre-orders for our wholesale and private label buyers, as well as launching our winter collection online for all to see! Can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of our new winter styles!
Then I am off to Nepal for two weeks to try to finalise our 2020 collection with the 11 producer groups we work with in Kathmandu, before all of Nepal celebrates their main annual festivals Dashain and Tihar. Phew, wish me luck!
