Packaged plastic-free. When the felted pebble is wet, the soap inside will lather through and the wool will gently exfoliate your skin. Beautiful and practical, the felted layer helps to keep your bathroom cleaner. As every bit of the soap is used, the felted pebble is a long lasting 100% plastic free alternative to shower gel and handwash. The felt shrinks in hot water, remaining tight around the soap bar as it is consumed. The felt covering is particularly useful for children and those who suffer from arthritis as the soap is less likely to slip from hands.
The cold process natural soap is made without chemicals and preservatives. 100% palm free and SLS free. Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera Oil (coconut oil), Aqua, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (sunflower seed oil), Glycine Soja Oil (soybean oil), Bassia Butyracea Seed Butter (phulwara/chiuri butter). May contain the following essential oils: Rosa Damascena Flower (Rose), Mentha Spicata (Spearmint), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint), Vanilla Planifolia Fruit (Vanilla), Cymbopogon Citratus Leaf (Lemongrass), Jasminum Officinale Flower (Jasmine), Santalum Album (Sandalwood), Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime), Citrus Limon Peel (Lemon). Hand-felted from 100% raw sheep wool. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colours are produced using azo-free dyes. Wool has high breathability and it resists odours due to its natural antibacterial properties. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. Our wool is mulesing free.

Handmade in a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The women makers all live locally and work flexible hours around family commitments. It can take 45 minutes to fully felt a tray of felt balls. The artisans fold wool fleece into small pods, then each works to roll a wooden board over a tray containing 600 pods plus a smidgen of water and soap. A rock is added for weight partway through the process, helping the balls become denser through friction whilst minimising soap and water consumption. Fascinating to watch and fun to try too! The balls are dried en mass in the sun and then the artisans sit on the padded workshop floor, using their toes to keep the balls in place while hand-stitching and threading our decorations and felt dining range.
